A feeling.

Sometimes, you get a feeling. A feeling which is difficult to understand, and not something that can easily be described. It comes from deep within and eats its way into your heart. It is the feeling of something that is missing, a puzzle piece which is not yet found. You have love, affection and joy in your life, but this strives for something more. Maybe it is not just something, but someone. Someone to share your heart with, to feel compassion for and to share the silent with. Someone who fully understands you and to whom you can give all of your love. The love that has grown stronger with each day, just waiting to come out. You will never know when and where it will happen, but hopefully, one day it will. And that feeling you have, it is longing, longing for that day to come. Because sooner or later we all need that someone, whomever it may be.
